Amends the Personal Privacy Protection Act to add new exceptions allowing the Attorney General to request personal affiliation information during authorized investigations, disclose such information in court proceedings and public communications, and obtain it through discovery in civil or criminal actions

Creates an exception permitting lawful requests for or disclosure of personal affiliation information that has already been publicly or voluntarily disclosed by the person or entity it concerns

Maintains existing protections prohibiting public agencies from compelling individuals or 501(c) organizations to provide membership, donor, or supporter information, and from publicly disclosing such information in their possession

Retains civil remedies including minimum damages of $2,500 per violation and up to triple damages for intentional violations, plus potential attorney fees

Establishes criminal penalties of up to $1,000 fine and/or 90 days imprisonment for knowing violations, with an effective date of November 1, 2026
