Amends Oklahoma statute 21 O.S. Section 1277 regarding unlawful carry of firearms in certain places, modifying the scope of where concealed and unconcealed firearms are prohibited

Maintains prohibitions on carrying firearms in government buildings, courthouses (when court is in session), schools, detention facilities, sports arenas during professional events, and gambling establishments unless permitted by property owners

Allows firearm carry in parking areas of government properties, schools, parks, recreational areas, wildlife refuges, and fairgrounds, with firearms required to be stored hidden and locked in unattended vehicles on school property

Permits private schools and public school districts to adopt policies authorizing designated personnel to carry handguns if they possess armed security guard licenses or reserve peace officer certification

Violations carry a misdemeanor fine not exceeding $250; effective date is November 1, 2026
