Removes the prohibition on carrying firearms at government-secured public events, previously banned at properties set aside by counties, cities, towns, public trusts, or state authorities for events with minimum security provisions (8-foot metallic fencing, uniformed peace officers at access points, and metal detectors)

Maintains existing firearm prohibitions at government buildings conducting public business, courthouses, prisons, jails, detention facilities, schools, publicly-owned sports arenas during professional events (unless event holder allows), and gambling establishments (unless property owner allows)

Preserves lawful firearm carry at government parking areas, parks, recreational areas, wildlife refuges, fairgrounds, and school parking lots (with firearms stored hidden and locked in unattended vehicles)
