Public school districts in Oklahoma would be prohibited from offering any sex education class or program designed for the exclusive purpose of discussing sexual behavior or attitudes

Removes existing provisions from the Parents' Bill of Rights that required school districts to establish opt-out procedures for sex education curricula and notification procedures for sexuality instruction

Eliminates requirements for superintendents to make sex education curriculum and materials available for parental inspection and approval prior to classroom use

Removes parental right to opt out of sex education curriculum from the list of parental rights that districts must inform parents about

Effective date of July 1, 2026, with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval
