Religious organizations and their security personnel would be immune from civil liability for acts or omissions resulting in death, damage, or injury when security personnel act within the scope of their employment or volunteer duties

Immunity extends to intentional acts and acts involving possession or use of a firearm by security personnel

"Religious organization" includes churches, seminaries, synagogues, temples, mosques, religious orders, and organizations qualifying under IRS Section 501(c)(3) or 501(d)

"Security personnel" covers both hired employees and volunteers whose duties include providing security services to the religious organization
