Contraceptive drugs include all FDA-approved pregnancy prevention medications administered orally, transdermally, or intravaginally

Enrollees may request smaller supplies, and providers may prescribe smaller amounts based on clinical utility and medical appropriateness

Coverage does not extend to medications that could be used to terminate an existing pregnancy

Effective November 1, 2025
