State and education employees in Oklahoma's four major retirement systems (Law Enforcement, Public Employees, Teachers', and Justices/Judges) lose the right to access, withdraw, or liquidate their retirement benefits upon being charged with a felony in state or federal court

Prosecuting attorneys must notify the relevant retirement system within 48 hours of filing felony charges against a member

Retirement systems must immediately reject any payment claims from members charged with a felony

Access to retirement benefits is restored if the member is found not guilty in court
