Requires 8% employee contribution rate for these newly covered positions, matching rates for correctional officers, firefighters, and deputy sheriffs already receiving enhanced benefits

Allows current employees in these positions to make an irrevocable election by end of calendar year following effective date to receive enhanced benefits for future and past service

Provides survivor death benefits for covered employees killed or mortally wounded in the line of duty, including monthly pension equal to 2.5% times 20 years of service times final average compensation, plus $400/month per child under age 18 or 22 if in school

Makes technical corrections throughout the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System statutes to update terminology and statutory references
