Sets new starting salary at $42,101 for teachers with a Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience, up from $39,601; maximum salary reaches $67,819 for teachers with 35 years of experience and a Doctor's degree

Applies salary increases to classroom instructional employees at technology center school districts, correctional teachers and vocational instructors at the Department of Corrections, teachers at the Office of Juvenile Affairs, and teachers at the State Department of Rehabilitation Services

Requires school districts to provide 30 days written notice to teachers if retirement benefits would reduce their salary below the minimum schedule

Takes effect July 1, 2026, with an emergency clause for immediate implementation upon passage and approval
