Travel reimbursement allowances for county officers will increase automatically by 2% annually beginning in Fiscal Year 2028

Newly elected county officials must be reimbursed by their counties for approved pre-office training expenses, with reimbursement occurring in January when they take office

County officers may use county-owned vehicles or equipment in emergencies related to county business, and county commissioners may use county-owned or leased equipment (excluding automobiles and pick-up trucks) for county business purposes
