State Anatomical Board registers anatomical donor programs and non-transplant tissue banks, and oversees collection, preservation, storage, distribution, and cremation of human bodies used for health science education and research

Board membership includes deans of accredited medical schools, anatomy department heads, two representatives from higher education institutions with approved programs requiring human anatomical materials, and one at-large member appointed by the Governor

Makes technical updates to statutory language and references throughout the existing law

Declares an emergency, making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval, with a stated effective date of July 1, 2025
