Reduces permissible election dates for counties, school districts, municipalities, and other political subdivisions to six specific Tuesdays per year: second Tuesday of February, first Tuesday of April, third Tuesday of June, fourth Tuesday of August, first Tuesday after the first Monday of November, and second Tuesday of December

Expands election date restrictions from elections to fill office only to elections "for any purpose," eliminating the separate schedule that previously allowed non-office elections on additional dates throughout the year

Authorizes the Governor to call special elections on seven additional dates when filling vacancies in U.S. Representative, State Senator, or State Representative offices, or during declared national or state emergencies

Requires entities holding elections concurrent with federal or state elections to file resolutions with county election boards at least 75 days prior to the election date, with candidate filing periods beginning no later than 10 days after the resolution deadline

Applies to elections held after January 1, 2026, with an effective date of November 1, 2025
