Twelfth-grade students who transfer into a school after October 1 of any school year shall not be included in the adjusted cohort graduation rate calculation

Chronic absenteeism is removed as a statewide measure of school quality or student success in school grading calculations

Elementary and middle school grades will be based on up to 40 points for ELA/math/science status, up to 35 points for ELA/math growth, and up to 10 points for English language proficiency progress

High school grades will include up to 55 points for ELA/math/science status, up to 10 points each for English language proficiency, graduation rate, and postsecondary opportunities (expanded to include ACT WorkKeys Silver level, military readiness, and ASVAB scores)

Schools may earn bonus points of up to 3 points for exceeding in-person classroom instruction requirements and up to 2 points for improving chronic absenteeism rates; State Board must submit ESSA plan amendment by August 1, 2025
