Amends Oklahoma Mental Health Law definitions by removing the word "immediate" from criteria for determining when a person requires treatment, broadening the standard from "immediate physical harm" to "substantial risk of physical harm"

Removes homelessness as an exclusion from the definition of "person requiring treatment," meaning homeless individuals can now be subject to involuntary treatment proceedings if they meet other criteria

Extends the look-back period for violent behavior history from 24 months to 36 months when determining eligibility for assisted outpatient treatment

Changes terminology from "serious physical injury" to "serious physical harm" in criteria related to inability to provide for basic physical needs

Effective date: November 1, 2025
