First offense for willfully disturbing a religious assembly is a misdemeanor punishable by up to $500 fine, up to 1 year in county jail, or both; second or subsequent offenses become a felony with up to $1,000 fine and up to 2 years in state custody

Prohibited acts include uttering profane discourse, rude or indecent acts, or making unnecessary noise within or near enough to disturb a religious meeting

Knowingly obstructing, detaining, hindering, or blocking another person's entry to or exit from a place of religious worship is prohibited

Approaching within 8 feet of another person without consent for purposes of passing leaflets, displaying signs, or oral protest within 100 feet of any entrance to a religious meeting place is prohibited

Declared an emergency measure, taking effect immediately upon passage and approval
