Increases the construction value threshold for government buildings exempt from architect requirements from $158,000 to $300,000 for buildings used by municipalities, counties, state agencies, public trusts, or the federal government

Applies to buildings no more than two stories in height under Code Use Groups including Utility, Factory/Industrial, Storage, and certain Residential categories

Updates statutory language by changing "and/or" to "or" regarding exit passageways and egress provisions

Effective date: November 1, 2025
