Adds "demonstration of threatening behavior" as a new reason students may be suspended out-of-school from Oklahoma public schools

Students suspended for threatening behavior directed at a specific classroom teacher cannot return to that teacher's classroom without the teacher's approval

Schools are not required to provide regular education services to students removed for threatening behavior; alternative settings may be used until the school determines the student no longer poses a threat

Students suspended for threatening behavior (more than 5 days) are excluded from mandatory education plan requirements that apply to other suspension categories

Effective date of July 1, 2025, with emergency clause for immediate implementation upon passage
