School district boards of education and charter school governing boards must display the Ten Commandments in every classroom by January 1, 2026, on posters or framed documents at least 11 by 14 inches with the text as the central focus in large, readable font

Oklahoma State System of Higher Education institutions must also display the Ten Commandments in each classroom by January 1, 2026, following the same minimum size requirements

Displays must include a required context statement describing the historical role of the Ten Commandments in American public education, referencing The New England Primer (1688) and McGuffey Readers

Schools are prohibited from spending their own funds on displays and must instead accept donated funds or donated displays; the State Department of Education must publish free resources for compliance on its website

Schools may also display the Mayflower Compact, Declaration of Independence, and Northwest Ordinance alongside the Ten Commandments
