Public schools must provide parents with information about all education options before annual student enrollment, including open transfer options, parental choice tax credits, charter schools, and the Lindsey Nicole Henry Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

Schools must disclose the ability to transfer to other districts or different sites within a resident district under the Education Open Transfer Act

Information about statewide virtual charter schools and physical charter schools within the district and adjacent district boundaries must be included

School districts must post this information on their websites year-round, update it annually, and make printed copies available in school offices

The State Department of Education must develop a standardized document containing all required school choice information and distribute it to districts; effective date is July 1, 2025
