Athletic associations, post-secondary institutions, and school districts must designate all athletic competitions and extracurricular sports as "Males/Men/Boys," "Females/Women/Girls," or "Coed" based on biological sex

Biological males are prohibited from participating in athletic competitions or sports designated for females; biological sex is determined by birth certificate recorded at or near birth, or physician verification based on reproductive anatomy, testosterone levels, and genetics

School districts must designate all bathrooms and locker rooms for exclusive use by either male or female biological sex, with limited exceptions for coaches and trainers under written policy

Students harmed by violations or subjected to retaliation for reporting violations may sue for injunctive relief, monetary damages (including psychological, emotional, or physical harm), and attorney fees within a two-year statute of limitations

Provisions first apply to the 2027-2028 academic year
