Oregon Department of Human Services must establish medical assistance reimbursement rates for residential care facilities that match rates paid to assisted living facilities

Base rate for residential care facilities set at no less than the assisted living facility rate for level 3 care; one add-on qualifies for level 4 rates; two add-ons qualify for level 5 rates

Residents qualifying for three add-ons receive an amount determined by the department with stakeholders, sufficient to provide high-quality care and meet service needs

Becomes operative July 1, 2026 and sunsets June 30, 2027

Department may adopt rules necessary to implement these provisions
