Coordinated care organizations must collaborate with local public health authorities, community mental health programs, local planning committees, and hospitals to conduct community health assessments and adopt community health improvement plans

Community health improvement plans must now include behavioral health plans required by law or the Oregon Health Authority, including comprehensive local plans from local mental health authorities and behavioral health plans from coordinated care organizations

The Oregon Health Authority is now required (changed from "may") to prescribe rules for community health improvement plans and provide guidance for aligning development timelines across all participating entities

OHA rules must align community health improvement plan requirements with other coordinated care organization reporting requirements covering health inequities, social determinants of health, health technology, payment models, oral health integration, language access, and traditional health worker integration

Amendments apply to community health improvement plans adopted on or after the effective date of the act
