When a city within Metro's urban growth boundary annexes territory that is also within the urban growth boundary, that territory is automatically annexed to the Metro district without requiring separate boundary change proceedings under ORS 268.354 or ORS chapter 198.

The automatic annexation provision applies only to territories annexed by a city on or after the effective date of the act.

Amends ORS 268.354 to add an exception for this new automatic annexation process alongside existing exceptions for urban growth boundary adoptions.
