Property owners may request immediate removal of unlawful occupants from residential dwellings or commercial buildings by submitting a sworn declaration to the county sheriff or city police chief and paying an agency-established fee

Law enforcement must conduct fact-finding upon receiving the declaration, and if probable cause exists, must serve a notice to vacate and use reasonable force to restore the property owner's possession

Persons wrongfully removed due to material misstatements in the declaration have a cause of action against the property owner for restoration of possession, damages, costs, and attorney fees

Criminal trespass in the first degree is elevated from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class C felony when the trespasser causes more than $1,000 in damages to the dwelling or building

First degree forgery is expanded to include falsely creating or using listings or advertisements for the sale or rent of dwellings or commercial buildings
