First-time voter registrants in Oregon must provide evidence of U.S. citizenship, including original or legible photocopy of birth certificate, U.S. passport, naturalization documents, or tribal enrollment/Bureau of Indian Affairs card number

Repeals Oregon's electronic voter registration system (ORS 247.019), eliminating the option to complete registration cards online

Requires the Secretary of State to redesign voter registration cards to state that citizenship evidence is required for first-time registrants and list accepted documents

County clerks must mail written notice to first-time registrants within 7 business days indicating whether registration was successful; registration officially occurs on the date this confirmation notice is mailed

Applies only to persons registering to vote in Oregon for the first time after the operative date; existing registered voters are not affected
