Oregon Department of Education shall award grants to approved recovery schools to offset screening costs, provide recovery services capacity and treatment access, and fund start-up or operating costs under ORS 336.680

Establishes the Approved Recovery School Fund in the State Treasury, separate from the General Fund, with moneys continuously appropriated to ODE for awarding grants

Fund will consist of Legislative Assembly appropriations and other deposited amounts from any source

Grant-awarding requirement becomes operative on January 1, 2026, though ODE may take preparatory actions before that date

Declared an emergency measure, effective immediately upon passage
