Oregon Medical Board must require physicians and physician associates to complete at least 2 hours of continuing education every 6 years on suicide risk assessment, treatment, and management, including lethal means counseling

Physicians and physician associates must report completion of this continuing education to the board

The board must document completion and remove personally identifiable information from the data, except for licensees who consent to share their information with the Oregon Health Authority

The board must approve continuing education opportunities that meet these requirements and report data to the Oregon Health Authority as required by ORS 676.860

Requirements apply to licenses issued or renewed on or after the effective date of the Act
