Each county must operate a facility to house and treat pretrial detainees who have behavioral health disorders or intellectual or developmental disabilities

Facilities must be jointly managed by the county sheriff and the community mental health program director, staffed by both behavioral health professionals and sheriff's deputies

Oregon Health Authority must provide behavioral health professionals and co-management for counties lacking a community mental health program

General Fund appropriation to Oregon Health Authority for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025 for county distribution to construct and maintain these facilities (amount unspecified in bill)
