Department of Education must establish an advisory committee to study and recommend modernized service levels for early intervention and early childhood special education programs

Committee must consider latest research on effective services for children with disabilities or developmental delays, plus family experiences with individualized service plans and providers

Required committee membership includes an educator, therapist, parent of enrolled child, budget expert, policy organization representatives, and a Department of Early Learning and Care representative

Recommendations report due to Legislative Assembly interim education committees by September 15, 2026, and may include proposed legislation

Advisory committee provisions automatically repeal on January 2, 2027
