First installment of temporary disability compensation must be paid within 14 days after the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services receives notice of an employer compliance investigation and worker's disability, when authorized by an attending physician or nurse practitioner

Subsequent temporary disability payments must be made at least every two weeks during the investigation period

Assigned claims agents will make payments, with reimbursement available from the Workers' Benefit Fund

Workers' Benefit Fund expenditure authority is expanded to include payment of temporary disability benefits during employer compliance investigations under ORS 656.054
