Establishes a 15-member Task Force on Improving Safety in Health Care Settings to consider and recommend strategies for eliminating workplace violence in health care settings

Task force membership includes representatives from hospitals, home health agencies, hospice programs, direct care staff (including two represented by labor organizations), disability advocates, law enforcement, district attorneys, and public defenders

Four legislative members (two from each chamber) serve as nonvoting advisory members; the Governor appoints the 11 voting members

Oregon Health Authority provides staff support; report with potential legislative recommendations due to interim health care committees by December 15, 2026

Task force sunsets December 31, 2027; non-legislative members serve as uncompensated volunteers
