Oregon Government Ethics Commission may extend the Investigatory Phase by up to 60 days by issuing an order to continue the investigation into alleged ethics law or lobbying violations

Removes the previous 30-day continuation option for additional fact-finding at the end of the Investigatory Phase for ethics violations under ORS 244.260, replacing it with the new 60-day extension authority

Increases the continuation period for lobbying violation investigations under ORS 171.778 from 30 days to 60 days for additional fact-finding purposes

Amendments apply to investigations already in the Investigatory Phase on the effective date, as well as investigations that begin after the effective date
