Prohibits food and beverages sold to students in Oregon public K-12 schools from containing Red Number 3 (a food dye), potassium bromate, or propylparaben

Applies to all food and beverage sales during regular and extended school days when activities are under school district control, including before/after classes and during clubs, practices, and child care programs

Does not apply to USDA National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program meals, or to school events where parents and adults are a significant part of the audience

School district boards may adopt standards more restrictive than those specified in the bill

Takes effect July 1, 2027
