All health benefit plans in Oregon must cover treatment for perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause, including hormone therapy, SSRIs/SNRIs, vaginal estrogen, osteoporosis medications, neurokinin B antagonists, topical hormone therapy, and bioidentical hormones

Coverage is limited to drugs approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration

Public Employees' Benefit Board expenditure limits increased by $1,109,179 for the 2025-2027 biennium to fund this coverage

Oregon Educators Benefit Board expenditure limits increased by $291,077 for the 2025-2027 biennium for the same purpose

Requirements apply to health benefit plans issued, renewed, or extended on or after January 1, 2026
