Department of the State Fire Marshal must establish the "Wildfire Prepared Structure Program" to provide grants for retrofitting dwellings to be resistant and resilient to wildfire

Grants available as individual grants to persons or block grants to counties, with eligible retrofits and materials based on Oregon Residential Specialty Code section R327 or industry best practices

Priority given to applicants in the wildland-urban interface, those implementing defensible space requirements, socially vulnerable communities, low-income persons, and those whose homes were destroyed by wildfires under the Emergency Conflagration Act

Applications accepted at least once per year for existing dwellings, and as needed for dwellings reconstructed after wildfire damage

Appropriates General Fund money to the Department of the State Fire Marshal for the 2025-2027 biennium, with funds available continuously until expended; declares an emergency for immediate effect
