Health insurers must pay claims for medical services provided by a healthcare provider joining an in-network provider group during the credentialing period at in-network rates and payment schedules, rather than out-of-network rates

If a provider joining an in-network group fails to submit a complete application or does not meet credentialing requirements, the provider group must reimburse the insurer for the difference between in-network and out-of-network rates

Health insurers must notify providers within 90 days of receiving an application if the application is incomplete

The bill takes effect on the 91st day after the 2025 regular legislative session adjourns
