Oregon Department of Emergency Management may issue temporary professional licenses during declared states of emergency to individuals formerly licensed by seven health care boards: Medical Imaging, Dentistry, Naturopathic Medicine, Optometry, Medical Board, Nursing, and Pharmacy

Applicants must have held an active license within 10 years and cannot have had their license revoked, suspended, or canceled as a disciplinary measure

Temporary licenses expire after 180 days unless the department specifies an earlier date, with renewal available upon expiration

Professional services provided under temporary licenses must be related to or reasonably necessitated by the declared emergency

Temporary licenses automatically become invalid when the state of emergency terminates
