Climate change standards must address causes and effects of climate change, as well as strategies for mitigation, adaptation, and strengthening community resilience

School districts and public charter schools retain control over course content, format, materials, and teaching methods

Applies to all reviews and revisions of academic content standards occurring on or after the effective date of the Act
