Coos County may approve golf courses on exclusive farm use (EFU) zoned land under expanded criteria, including land that is not high-value farmland, or certain high-value farmland surrounded on all sides by an approved golf course and west of U.S. Highway 101

Additional criteria allow golf course siting on EFU land in Coos County west of Highway 101 if the tract contained specified perennials on December 6, 2007, and the golf course is placed outside the portion where those perennials were grown

The expanded Coos County-specific provisions for golf course siting sunset on January 1, 2028, giving the county a two-year window to approve projects under these criteria

After the sunset date, standard statewide golf course siting rules will apply, limiting placement to non-high-value farmland or high-value farmland surrounded by an approved golf course west of Highway 101

Amends ORS 215.213 and 215.283 governing permitted uses in exclusive farm use zones
