Study must identify barriers to effective wildfire management techniques, obstacles to using timber harvest of standing and burned forests for wildfire mitigation, and economic impacts of increasing harvest numbers on revenue for schools, municipalities, counties, and the state

Study must evaluate expanding use of Good Neighbor Authority Agreement on federal lands and compare Oregon lumber/wood products mill counts between 1980 and 2025

Report with findings and recommendations due to interim legislative committees on natural resources, housing, and agriculture by September 15, 2027

Appropriates $500,000 from General Fund for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025; study provisions sunset January 2, 2028
