Covered products include aqueous film-forming foam, artificial turf, cleaning products, carpets/rugs, cookware, cosmetics, dental floss, fabric treatments, packaging, juvenile products, menstrual products, refrigerators, textile articles, and ski wax

Outdoor apparel for severe wet conditions designed for expert/professional users added to the covered products list effective January 1, 2028

Manufacturers must provide signed certificates of compliance to retailers/distributors confirming products are PFAS-free; exemptions apply to used products, personal protective equipment, medical devices, and U.S. military clothing

Attorney General authorized to investigate violations and bring civil actions; penalties up to $5,000 for first violation and $10,000 for subsequent violations, with retailers/distributors having a good-faith reliance defense if they obtained compliance certificates
