Expands permissible uses of net revenue from new or increased local transient lodging taxes (hotel taxes) to include public safety services and "community infrastructure" costs

Defines "public safety" as services from police, sheriff's office, district attorney's office, fire department, search and rescue, or emergency medical services

Defines "community infrastructure" as facilities for water, wastewater, transportation, recreation (parks, trails, tourism access points), and public amenities (parking, restrooms)

Maintains requirement that at least 70% of net revenue must fund tourism promotion, tourism-related facilities, or tourism-impacted services; up to 30% may fund general city or county services

Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment of the 2025 regular legislative session
