Courts must issue child custody orders in writing within five days after the ruling is made

Courts cannot appoint parenting coordinators, panels, or programs to assist with parenting plans or parenting time disputes unless both parents agree after discussing the costs and their responsibility for payment

When an appellate court remands a domestic relations suit or child custody order back to circuit court, the original presiding judge is prohibited from hearing the further proceedings
