Expands third-degree assault (Class C felony) to include intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly causing physical injury to any public employee while acting in the course of official duty

Expands aggravated harassment (Class C felony) to include knowingly propelling saliva, blood, urine, semen, feces, or other dangerous substances at any public employee during official duties

Defines "public employee" as any employee whose compensation is paid from public funds

Requires district school boards to adopt policies mandating expulsion for students who cause physical injury to school employees or propel bodily fluids or dangerous substances at them

Takes effect on the 91st day after the 2025 legislative session adjourns sine die
