Unlawful entry into a building primarily used as a pharmacy constitutes burglary in the first degree, a Class A felony

Unlawful entry into any building containing a pharmacy with intent to steal prescription medications or controlled substances also constitutes first-degree burglary

First-degree burglary carries a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and/or a fine up to $375,000

Takes effect on the 91st day after the 2025 legislative session adjourns
