Oregon-licensed physicians and physician associates may now provide telemedicine services to established patients who are temporarily located out of state

Out-of-state telemedicine is limited to temporary, urgent, or emergent situations, or to ensure continuity of care for the patient

The provider must have an established patient-provider relationship with the patient before the patient travels out of state

Providers using this out-of-state telemedicine authority remain subject to the medical practice laws of the jurisdiction where the patient is physically located
