Establishes a 9-member Task Force on Law Libraries, with 7 voting members appointed by the Chief Justice (including law library representatives, a circuit court judge, a district attorney, a public defense attorney, and a legal aid representative) and 2 nonvoting legislative members

Directs the task force to develop a definition of "law library services" to guide counties on appropriate use of law library funds and explore ways to ensure sufficient funding for county law libraries

Requires a report with potential legislative recommendations to a judiciary-related interim committee by December 15, 2026

Oregon Judicial Department provides staff support; all state agencies must assist the task force and furnish information as needed

Takes effect 91 days after the 2025 legislative session adjourns and sunsets December 31, 2026
