Prohibits recreational or commercial beaver trapping on public lands within 200 feet of rivers/streams classified as Category 4 or 5 (impaired) under the federal Clean Water Act

Requires the State Department of Fish and Wildlife to publish and update every two years a map of areas where beaver taking is prohibited

Allows federal or state land management agency employees to take beavers when addressing damage or imminent threats to built infrastructure (roads, culverts, water conveyances) on public land or adjacent private land

Establishes nonlethal coexistence measures as the preferred approach, including flow control devices, culvert fencing, tree protection, dam notching, and dam anchors

Exempts private lands, navigable waterways adjacent to private land, areas already closed to beaver hunting/trapping, and federally recognized tribal treaty rights and cooperative management agreements
