Oregon's 83rd Legislative Assembly formally recognizes and honors Carol Rulla for her contributions to Gresham and the state of Oregon

Carol Rulla began her civic involvement in 2005 with the Kelly Creek Neighborhood Association, serving as president for three years and continuing as land use director

Elected vice president of the Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations in 2006 and president in 2007, strengthening the coalition into a trusted voice at Gresham City Hall

Contributions include two decades of neighborhood advocacy, creating concept plans for undeveloped parks, and sustainability work through the Gresham Repair Cafe
