Reduces the mandatory waiting period between a patient's initial oral request and prescription writing from 15 days to 7 days under the Oregon Death With Dignity Act

Requires hospice programs to publicly disclose their policies regarding the Death With Dignity Act, including whether patients may participate, whether staff may be present during medication ingestion, and whether staff may serve as attending or consulting practitioners

Requires health care facilities (hospitals, clinics, nursing homes) to disclose their policies regarding patient participation in the Death With Dignity Act prior to admission or on their website

Removes the requirement that one witness to a patient's written request cannot be an owner, operator, or employee of the health care facility where the patient receives treatment

Allows consulting practitioners to confirm a terminal diagnosis by reviewing and signing a hospice program's certification of terminal illness, rather than requiring a separate examination
